Celebrate Freedom America

Celebrate Freedom America - Don't Tell Me That It Can't Be Done (an independent organization) is an event that promotes freedom, personal responsibility, fiscal conservatism, and a balanced federal budget.

The event is founded on the following statement in the Declaration of Independence:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. --That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed...

The event organizers are non-partisan and support people from all parties that believe in the responsibilities that are necessary to preserve these freedoms. To that end, the organizers and its supporters have created an event whose purpose is to unite and inspire all fiscal conservatives, Tea Party, Republican, Libertarian, and Blue Dogs that support Freedom, Fiscal/Personal Responsibility and Liberty that it is possible to win in the next election, if we will work, work, work.  And in the immediate future to unite together to defeat the proposed health care legislation which is NOT fiscally conservative, nor promotes personal responsibility, and it limits freedom and is an affront to liberty. 

Supporters of the Event

Supporters of the event may have differences ideologically, but they do agree with the principles espoused by the event organizers and have come together to support a forum of open honest debate. Recently, the South Bay Tea Party (“SBTP”) and the Beach Cities Republican Club agreed to support the event.  The event’s organizers have invitations out to numerous other groups including local Democratic and Libertarian Clubs as well as some local health care think tanks. . 

About the South Bay Tea Party

The South Bay Tea Party is a bipartisan grassroots organization that supports limited, fiscally responsible government and a balanced budget by 2012.  SBTP believes in freedom, personal responsibility, honesty and openness and seeks to identify and elevate candidates for public office who agree with these values.

About the Beach Cities Republican Club

The Beach Cities Republican Club (BCRC) is a known as one the most active grassroots organizations in LA County.  Los Angeles County has roughly 1.1 million registered Republicans, the most of any county in America.  Its mission is to get Republicans elected at all levels of government.  BCRC recognizes that it is important to get Republicans elected who are fiscal conservatives, understand the Constitution, and who will fight for the very rights and freedoms our Founding Fathers risked their lives and fortunes to establish. The organization is involved in both national and local issues.  Most recently the Beach Cities Republican Club led the charge, with both local business leaders and the South Bay Tea Party movement, in defeating a business license tax increase in the city of Hermosa Beach;  saving businesses (and ultimately taxpayers) thousands of dollars in increased fees and taxes.
